An often maligned Welles film that has many plot elements in common with Lady From Shanghai, but one I’ve always found enormously watchable. Possibly not in spite of, but thanks in part to the strange, off-key performance of actor, Robert Arden as the questionable “hero”.

Always cool to see an Orson Welles thriller. I don’t care for his Shakespeare stuff, but these are nearly always interesting at least.
