Description: Searching for the lost world of Atlantis, Prof. Aitken, his son Charles and Greg Collinson are betrayed by the crew of their expedition’s ship, attracted by the fabulous treasures of Atlantis. The ONLY OTHER “Doug McClure/AMICUS/Sci-Fi/Adventure” that I MISSED directly in the theaters (the other was “AT THE EARTH’S CORE”). Nonetheless, while NOT an “Edgar Rice Burroughs”-film, it was still a wild ride when I managed to finally see it on TV many years later. NOW, to see it “properly”. Again, Thanks Rarelust.
AT THE EARTH’S CORE was good, It has the aspect of a 1950s film even if the Special Effects were Terrible for 1976.
also, I thought it was weird how the hero declares he “Will marry the Princess” and she just sort of says “no thanks” and walks off.
