One Response to The Oscar (1966)

  1. Lagartija Nix says:

No words can prepare the viewer for this steaming pile of Hollywood dung. Years ago in the days of mom n pop video (VHS style) I ran across this opus blindly… never even read a synopsis. I figured with a cast like this I was in for some heavy, possibly camp melodrama. I spent the next two hours glued to this jaw dropping trash. My wife was hypnotized as well. When it ended I sat stunned. “What did we just watch?” Both immediately decided Russell Rouse had easily ousted Ed Wood in most every department. If “Mommie Dearest”, “Portrait in Black”, “Peyton Place”, and “Valley of the Dolls” are your idea of trash get ready for the next level.
