This is truly great little coming of age flick with some lesbian aspects. I saw the premiere at Toronto film fest with the director in attendance back in the day. It has really great use of the Foreigner song “I Wanna Know What Love is” in one of the movie’s highlights. Check it out.
second that. I saw this either at the Vancouver Film Fest or in Vancouver somewhere, I cant remember where, in 1998 or 1999. Great film. hard to believe its 25 years old. Now can you find A Long Hot Summer (Finland, 1999?) I was lucky enough to see this one in Helsinki years ago. Alot different in theme but another great Scandinavian coming of age film from the 90s.
