Once saw a blaxploitation film 20+ years ago… Not Rudy Ray but the main character had super powers. A funny scene with him lifting a safe onto a car & in a clinic refusing to get his temperature taken.

That was called (AND, get ready for this ORIGINAL TITLE!!) “The Six-Thousand Dollar Nigger”, starring Rudy Ray Moore’s comedy circuit partner, “WILDMAN” Steve (Gallon)–who’s in THIS film as well. The movie was released on XENON Video in ’86, with the main credits gone–because of the title (and XENON being an African American-owned label)–renamed “Super Soul Brother”.
That sounds like ‘The Six Thousand Dollar Nigger’ (AKA: ‘Super Soul Brother’) with Wildman Steve.
