    (please update: Stars: Didi Hallervorden)

The Guy with the gun on the cover is Didi Hallervorden, the guy who afterwards became the most famous actor in this movie. After this movie he was a very big comedian. This is one of his first roles without having any slapstick or fun, and by the way this is one of the reasons why to get this movie!

    Thanks a Lot, Rarelust!

    Amazing !
I found it years ago and it is quite prophetic on the dangerous downward slides of television, cynicism and capitalism.
The story was remade in France in 1983 as “Le Prix du Danger” by Yves Boisset with an incredible cast : Gérard Lanvin, Bruno Cremer, Marie-France Pisier, Michel Piccoli, Gabrielle Lazure, Andréa Ferréol… For decades it was made illegal to reissue on DVD or Bluray because Stephen King had written a plagiary story made into a terrible film “The running Man” and started a lawsuit to stop the exploitation of the french one. Worth watching too.
    Thanks for this one, Rarelust.
