Fantastic movie
It’s nice to have a really good print of a major film by one of the superstars of the silent era. Nowadays Conrad Veidt is remembered mainly for playing Cesare the hypnotically controlled killer in the incredibly strange “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari”, but this film is his greatest cultural legacy, since it inspired some young comic-book artists to create a certain Batman villain. You can probably guess which one.
Thanks a lor, RL!
Wow! A very, very good film. Thanks RL!
