I’m pretty sure this is where they got the idea for BFP (Brazilian Fart Porn). Just kidding. Actually, I just wanted to say thanks to RL. I’m a changed man since first finding his treasure chest a few years back. I thought I knew a little about movies. Turns, out I didn’t and still don’t know squat. Who knew?

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. SeattleNerd says:

Once you get past the initial visual shock these get boring quickly. Crappy plot full of holes (no pun intended), crappy acting, and part 2 and 3 are the same as part 1, just longer chains. That was 5 wasted hours of my life that went down the shitter and left a bad taste in my mouth.

  4. dudely says:

I believe the colorized version of part ll is not edited. The different run time is due to differences in PAL/NTSC playing speed. From what I read the colorized version is uncensored.

At ONE TIME, the term “ATM” meant “Automated Teller Machine” for banking. THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE, well, changed all that.

    And HOW!!

Thanks for giving us the whole thang, Rarelust.
    (I think I can STOMACH it—that’s a “joke”, ya’ll. )

  6. happyflashjack says:

Thanks so much for this! As disturbing as this movie may seem, it’s not nearly as bad as the sequel. I never saw the 3rd one, I can’t even begin to imagine what that would be like.

  7. Jim Bob Joe says:

This movie leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

  8. Ripley says:

I have a strange loyalty to this much-maligned sleaze classic; I’d argue that beyond its shocking central point, it’s a well made and moody horror film. And Dieter Laser is so committed to the role that I wouldn’t want to stay overnight in his house. Big thanks!

  9. Tony says:

A sweet disturbing classic. Amazed I saw this and A Serbian Film in cinemas. Those were the days!

    • Jim says:

You do have a very strong stomach then.

      Way stronger than mine.

These movies are really endurance tests.

I had to cover my eyes during some of the scenes.

The people behind it really knew how to shock the audience.

I have to give them credit for it.

      • Tony says:

        Yes Jim,
although I would probably say there are some smaller niche horror titles that were harder to watch for me.

Thanks to Rarelust for adding the sequels. I want to check out the colorized versions of II. That is probably the best overall, even though I love the humor or Part III and Bree Olson is super cute in it. Recommend them all!
