Good Bad Flicks from the post-Pulp Fiction era are some of the greatest guilty pleasures. This misguided lost puppy is like Skinemax meets Elmore Leonard. A single copy shelf sitter from the loneliest wall of a bygone Blockbuster. I hadn’t even heard of this until a few hours ago when it popped up on one of my fave trash movie resources. Get a knockout slipcover ready and release this pronto Vinegar Syndrome! It’s ideal for a VSA pick.
Nearly everyone is either typecast or miscast. Doesn’t fucking matter. The full ensemble really goes for broke as they recklessly put their faith in the hands of writer/director and Troma alumn Klaus Hoch for his one and only time at bat. Robert Loggia is a venerable good luck charm with that trademark white hair and spray tan, but it’s a young ultra foxy Lucy Liu having sex in a pit of venomous snakes that should have likeminded fanboys seeking this out. QT’s influence might extend beyond dialogue, especially given the fetishized prominence of her tiny impeccable feet.
