    This may be the first film I saw at the cinema sometime in the mid 60s, so it has always been special for me.

    When I was very young seeing this movie on TV (which is where I first saw it), after the Lilliput Half, I usually started to go to sleep or leave. I had to wait another 20-something years to finally catch another showing so that I can take in and appreciate the full story and Ray Harryhausen’s amazing effects. Now, we get this beautiful upgrade. Thanks, Rarelust.
