Back in the day you could go out and kill deer with your AK-47 for sport and display its antlers on your Chevy round the town. You might realize the deer’s position once you landed in Nam and cut the habit once you got back home (if ever). But It’s a classic, Walken steals the show, great addition RL.
Cimino is a total master, IMHO. I liked all of his films. This one really gets under your skin. I know I’ve heard his commentary for Year of the Dragon, but not sure I’ve ever listened to these, so thanks for that!
