This movie is much more interesting with the context of the life of the writer and male lead Rei Nakanishi, who like the character he played also suffered from heart disease. Gotta wonder how much of this miserable tale is autobiographical.
Overall I found this quite compelling. The story is a little too unpleasantly cynical for me but it is very well-shot and -acted for a pinku.
