Description: Rolf, a former mercenary who now makes a living as a helicopter pilot, is visited by some of his buddies from his mercenary days, who want him to help them in a drug-smuggling operation. Rolf refuses to get involved in the deal, which angers his former friends and they beat him severely. He later finds out that his girlfriend has been raped and murdered, and he sets out to find out if it was his former friends or the local police chief–who has been trying to get rid of Rolf in order to get the girl for himself–who is behind it all.

TUBI has a gorgeous print of this one, fully restored and widescreen…unfortunately it is a censored copy. Not sure why anyone would go to the trouble of restoring a movie like this only to cut it up. I notice that “Rolf” was one of the movies distributed by the “Mogul” Video label. These VHS tapes are super rare as they never produced that many of them, so they go for over 100 bucks on ebay. I also see that the Mogul titles never seem to turn up on dvd or blu ray, like they are in copyright limbo. For instance i have two movies on the Mogul label: “The Fatal Fix” starring Helmut Berger & Corrine Clery, as junkie prostitutes living on the streets of Rome, and “Insanity!” also starring Clery as a stripper. Both movies have strong cult status but neither are available here, so they must be super rare. Let’s hope that some blu ray label acquires the catalog of movies from Mogul video because they have some great films…
Authentic, raw action flick, the way this genre of movies should be..Also check out “Deadly Prey” for more hardcore action entertainment.
God, the quality on this is awful. You might be better off with the old VHS rip. No offense, just sayin’
This is an extremely rare title..we should be happy with any copy we can get..Let’s hope a restored version on Blu Ray gets released..
Thank you fot the TVRIP :)
