Thank you VERY MUCH for the quick response to my request. This was featured on MeTV’s Svengoolie and I knew this would be appreciated by fans of dark comedies.
This is a brilliant film. It really succeeds in showing the point of view we can have have has as a child towards the world of adults. It also reminded me of Lynch films; a similar mix of weird, nightmarish horror and comfy 50’s ambience tones, with some dark comedy.
Thank you for this one!
One of the wildest dark comedies of the eighties. Creepy as hell, and also funny as hell. Nightmarish stuff. Much better than Ron Howard’s Parenthood. Insanely good performance by Randy Quaid.
