  1. Tony says:

    Arthur (“Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer”) Rankin Jr. co-produced this, which would explain why Mecha King Kong has the cartoonish looks of his tv productions.

    Come to think of it, he produced a Saturday morning King Kong cartoon for ABC before doing this.

    you’ll hurt Kong’s feelings Vallaor

    You are not the only one who finds the beautiful actress as the reason to watch this movie. But thirty years ago, I was watching this movie for different reasons.

    I see that the country is listed as US, but other sources list this as a co-production with Japan. And based on the charming still shots and wacky plot, Japan should be acknowledged; so that Japan’s production reputation stays in tact.

    @Vallaor – you’re not alone I’m sure ;-).
    Both Mie Hama and Linda Miller are easy on the eyes.

    Mie Hama is in plenty of Toho Studios productions but the only other film I’ve seen with Linda Miller is The Green Slime (1968).

  5. Vallaor says:

    I wonder if I’m the only one downloading this movie because of the beautiful actress (see the screenshots) and not King Kong (not that I’m not curious to see him in action)?
