Saw this movie for ten years, on television, before I ever saw the beginning. I would always come in a half hour or so late.
Thanks for the post.
Yea! Saw this as a little kid at the Torrance, CA drive in. My sisters and I were young enough to sit in the back seat floorboards. What I mostly remember was a preview of coming attractions prior to the start of the main feature. Something about a guy who had been poisoned – he had 24 hours to either find the antidote or kill the poisoner – I don’t remember which – I was only seven or eight. And it’s not relevant anyway. What matters is that at a certain point in the preview the guy is in a strip joint and there’s this woman on stage wearing pasties with twirly things – she was moving in such a way that the twirly things spun round and round. I remember asking my mom what she was doing – she shoved my head down below the top of the front seat. I don’t remember what she said but I remember the twirly things. At any rate, this movie brings back such good mammaries – I mean memories. Thanks!
The way you describe the movie it’s probably “Color Me Dead” from 1969. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064176/
It seems to be a remake of the Noir film D.O.A.
It is. I’m going with the sixties version as most likely to be on the big screen near the same time of First Men in the Moon. But a re-release of the original is not out of the question either.
Well, she blew it by making a big fuss.
I find I remember things if my mom made a big deal about them; it’s cool you got to go to a Drive-in, I’m too young to have gotten to do so.
