The only copy of Stingray 1978 I can find on the internet has Russian dubbed over it. Presumably ripped off a VHS.

Hard to put a finger of why things like this aren’t WIDELY recognized for what a classic it is. How lesser things like steven spielberg movies are the big cultural icons. I might even suspect that there’s an artificial culture about it. Professional critics who are actually just a media apparatus.
