  1. George Draft says:

I believe that Christopher Lee did several Sherlock Holmes movies, including several with Patrick MacNee as Watson, and then Patrick did a TV movie where he played Sherlock Holmes called “The Hound Of London”. Been looking for all these rare Holmes movies for years.

    • Maria Laveaux says:

McNee was Watson opposite Roger Moore in “Sherlock Holmes in New York” 1976
He was again Watson in two TV movies opposite Lee as Holmes in “Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady” 1991, and “Incident at Victoria Falls” 1992
He played HOLMES in “The Hound of London” 1993) and “Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Temporal Nexus” 1996
Lee played Holmes in the film listed above as well as “Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace” 1962
Lee Also played Holmse’s brother MYCROFT in “The private Life of Sherlock Holmes” 1970 and Sir Henry Baskerville in “The Hound of the Baskervilles” 1959

  2. Andrew says:

Wonderful, RL, just wonderful! The copy I have from TPB years ago was a very bad print, but this looks so pristine. Do keep the lesser known Sherlock Holmes movies coming.
