I think everyone who claims to love movies MUST see this. It is an astounding piece of pre-CGI film making – 10,000 extras, 360 sets, 3 months to shoot the 9 minute chariot race, 3 hours of music composed by Miklos Rozsa (the longest score ever written for a movie) and a brilliant screenplay that was the twelfth version to be written. All this in what director William Wyler, in 1958, called “A thinking man’s Biblical Epic.”
