Roger Ebert sang this movie’s praises and indeed, there are many positive reviews of this film online, so you may want to ignore my humble opinion here, but I couldn’t get through this film. I have read that it has a great ending, but getting there is painfully boring. The story is convoluted and incredibly hard to follow. Art Carney is great in this, but the story is lame and confusing.
