I’d like to know that too, but nobody seems to have the answer. There is a Betamax videotape for sale on eBay for $6.99 advertised (on the packaging) as “European Theatrical Version Never Seen In The U.S.A.” but it claims a running time of 136 minutes. Has anyone ever asked Schiller why the nude scenes were not included in his so-called “director’s cut”?
On IMDb it states the following:
A 97-minutes version was released theatrically in Europe, featuring additional footage with some nudity not shown in original television version.
A 135 minute so-called “director’s cut” released on DVD in 2008 in the United States still has many of the nude scenes missing that were shown in Europe.
Is this 97-minutes version available anywhere?
