    Thank you for sharing.

  2. Ali says:

Underrated film, a murky, atmospheric slow burn movie, based on the novel by Brett Easton Ellis; definitely the most interesting thing Lindsay Lohan has done. People are too quick to write off films because they have a low budget; just look at the talent involved here…

  3. Tony says:

Shrader really believed this was going to be a break out film for porn actor James Deen. Some other shit happened to that dude instead.

    • Mr.G. says:

To break out of it you need a director the likes of John Waters in Cry Baby, Traci Lords next to Johnny Depp. I don’t see that caliber here.

      • Mr.G. says:

(not to mention them useless publicity gimmicks, Lohan’s obsession with Marilyn Monroe (the calendar shootout), Kim Kardashian’s too last year with that JFK dress – Scottish Daily Mail exploded for this)
But Cry Baby was in RL list, no? What happened to it, kindly restore please).

  4. Mr.G. says:

Paul Schrader of Cat People (Nastassja Kinski), yet now it’s more about the decline of cinema that has turned from art into more of a prostitution. Love it or hate it. Lohan described “fearless” for the nudity scenes.
On a side-note if Godard was shooting his last films with a DSLR on movie mode this is shot on a USD 250k budget from crowdfunding! Plan 9 was probably shot around that figure.

    • Mr.G. says:

…due to James Deen Deepthroat (1972) shot with USD 47k roughly today’s 300k is a better analogy. Schrader was after the equivalent of a cheap porn movie!
