This is pure B-movie exploitation Jess Franco style. The rudimentary story is blunt, dialogues are particularly awkward and stilted and the characters are acting incredibly implausible. Personally I find the female warden to be the greatest weakness: Wicked, lusty, yet in every scene acting like a soulless robot with only basic programming. Franco’s – probably only – strength is his eye for beautiful pictures, which shows even in this minor low-budget stage-like play.
Video quality is very good. About everything else, you know what you get….
