For those potentially interested in this film, I would not label it as a horror film. To me, the genre seems more like a “supernatural drama.” And drama it is!

Apparently this film was part of a 1970s television series entitled, “The Wide World Of Mystery.” I definitely want to watch more films from this series.

I thought the props were really fun contrivances too, and they sort of gave me a chuckle. What I like about films like this, is they leave so much to the imagination, which always directly involves or engages its audience. This is the total opposite of a slasher film, as slasher films always leave the audience out, since no imagination is required.

I think Gwen Verdon plays a really sexy cougar in this film too. In the film, she claims she’s age 38, but in real life she was actually age 48, when she starred in this movie. It’s sort of like the question of “do you pick Ginger or Mary Ann?” Well, I choose Mrs Howell for myself instead. That’s the sort of classy Dame you’ll find in this movie, but just minus the feather boas or excessive extravagance.

If your interested in a supernatural drama with an actual story line, rather than blood, guts and gore, then this film might interest you. Since this film is part of a series, I wished you could somehow link them all together, because I want to download anything that you post from this series. This series is an absolute ‘barn find’, as far as I am concerned.
