  1. Wendel says:

Sounds like the movie Mel Brooks did called the Twelve Chairs with Frank Langella.

This is exactly the same story as Mel Brooks’ The Twelve Chairs, which came out the next year (1970). Brooks’ film stuck closer to the 1928 Russian novel, had his usual legendary discoveries (in this case, Dom DeLuise and Frank Langella), and was much more developed than a simple comedy. I highly recommend it (hint, hint, RL!).

Many thanks RL. This is a classic and sadly Sharon Tate’s last film before the whole Manson murders thing. Great upload!!!
