Description: Two people are caught up in an all-consuming and forbidden love in this drama. Christine is married to Mario, a successful businessman, and is the mother of two children. However, she has a lover, a man she’s known long before she was married — her brother Christophe. Both of them are aware of the dangers of their incestuous relationship, and have both attempted to stop it — He even introduced her husband to his sister in hopes that they would hit it off and their affair would come to a end. But neither of them have the strength to put an end to their relationship, and while Mario has recently earned a promotion at work that will necessitate moving to a new city (a job she urged him to get), she hasn’t had the courage to tell her brother the news.

This film is about love, a love that can delve into codependence, a love strong enough that makes you question everything you’re about to do. It’s an incest setting but it could be any other scenario with any couple. It’s raw emotions instead of eroticism, the agony and struggle of living forbidden loves. We need more like this here on RL.

With that said, the movie freezes around the 18:24-18:34 minutes for some reason(at least on MPC). It is also listed as being 1 hr 24 minutes long on IMBb, whereas here we have 1 hour 19 minutes. The movie ends kinds of abruptly, on a dialgoue that seemed that it was going to continue, but the credits roll right after, so I couldn’t place where this 5 minute cut could’ve been.
