I love this movie. Thanks for the upload!

This is based on the original classic story by Richard Matheson.
It was first done as “I Am Legend” starring Vincent Price in the 1960s.
This is an absolute must for the science fiction fan. It may be the first large-scale vision of “zombies” used in SF.
One of my all-time favorite movies.
Heston brings an element missing in all the other similar SF premises: He seems profoundly disgusted by the human race, and he, along with the viewer, are carrying on, hoping for something better. (Similar to Soylent Green in that respect.)

The Vincent Price film was called ‘The Last Man on Earth’ and also well worth a look, though Omega Man is certainly my fave out of the three. Last Man is probably closest to the book.

Honestly, the best adaptation of “I Am Legend.” Vincent Price version was too slow and boring, Will Smith version was just a mess.

Same story adapted as I Am Legend with Will Smith 35 years later, nice to compare versions.

Oh man, this movie is so perfect for the current zeitgeist
