Submitted for your approval… here we have one of the holy grails of bad cinema. But, like Wood’s GLEN OR GLENDA, BRAINIAC is beyond bad. Wildly entertaining and deliriously funny, but it also has a certain surrealism. You could call it the ERASERHEAD of Mexican trash horror. At times, something in a scene will remind me of classic Bunuel! Fans of Ed Wood, Andy Milligan, H.G. Lewis, if you haven’t seen this, make a date with THE BRAINIAC. Thanks for the Blu-ray with commentary. Also thanks for updating Ken Russell’s THE DEVILS, most complete version I own now!
