Early film role featuring Leonard Nimoy. While I was watching this, one of the characters, while he was speaking, I could swear it was the voice of Leonard Nimoy. At first, I was not certain because this character is so made up, so Nimoy was not very distinguishable. But after looking this up, movie credits verified this, indeed, is Leonard Nimoy playing the role of professor Cole. As an actor, I have always liked him. He and Scott Glenn always tend to play stoic intellectual types. Really enjoyed this feature. It sort of seems though that the movie never really completed itself. The main problem in this movie was never really fully eradicated. After looking up more information on this movie, it is clear to me that this movie was made under very severe financial constraints. So in that sense, there is no part two or finish-up to this movie that I could find. What you see is what you get. Still though, I enjoyed this feature. Nothing can be compared to 1950s sci-fi. And for its urgency and entertainment value, I feel it leaves George Lucas in the dust. It’s a real hoot. After the Orson Well’s radio stunt that freaked out the nation, and with the onset of the space age and nuclear age, as well as the cold war, 1950s sci-fi was definitely inevitable.

And it does not overstay its welcome. At approximately one hour, I think it is perfect for a nice B movie.
