“Death Run” is the best movie in Michael Murphy’s filmography. On a tiny budget he created a post apocalyptic sci-fi cult classic that is better than the more showy, more expensive Italian flicks like “Escape From the Bronx” and “The New Barbarians.” With his usual cast that Murphy fans will recognize and that strange mix of horror and comedy, his fans are gonna love this one.
