I’ve had this title on a Chinese VCD for years…for those unfamiliar with the VCD format, it was a cheaper version of the standard dvd’s. The movie would be spread across 2 discs, but the picture quality would be pretty lousy..(some compare it to VHS quality but I think it’s worse). This VCD format was used almost exclusively within China and India…Anyway it will be nice to upgrade my old VCD copy of “Dead End” to this nice looking dvd print.

Really wonderful early, pre-kung fu movie of Ti Lung, it features those candy colored sets and vintage cars that were popular in 1950s Hollywood movies. “Dead End” is kind of like a Chinese “Rebel Without A Cause” with Ti Lung in the James Dean role.. Thanks for posting one of the more rare titles from the Shaw Collection..
