Stanley Kubrick liked it… This is the film that got Keir Dullea cast in ‘2001’. Dullea kind of reminds me of Tab Hunter, both visually and as an actor. He was perfect for ‘2001’ but didn’t have a lot to do even though his part was critical and lengthy. Here, he surprised me with a bit of poker face and the reveal at the end. This is probably his best performance while ‘2001’ is his most memorable. Really glad to see a commentary track, thanks!
