Pasolini’s colossal Masterpiece, along with “Gospel of According to Saint Matthew,” “Arabian Nights” is one of the most staggeringly beautiful movies ever made…It is something that could never be created today, because the exotic filming locations no longer exist; the natural locales have all given way to skyscrapers and hotels..If made today the entire production would have to be created with CGI…
Great film, but both audio channels are creaky (as if recorded too loud).
