One of the absolute BEST of the indie genre, and a fantastic, REAL New York City movie; Directed by Joe Vasquez, a guy who came from the same Bronx streets that he portrays in his movies..His first two movies are underground classics…then his third movie, “Hangin’ With the Homeboys” became a commercial hit of sorts…Nice to see his early work kept alive here…
