sir, i downloaded this movie and watched it. it s a good one.
although the VLC player indicates that the resolution is 1280×720, in reality (and visibly) it s less. the picture is not that sharp.
why is there this difference?

That is why the preview thumbs exist. Its a 1280×720 rip of an obviously less than ideal existing copy. Most likely the best he can find.
