I’ve been a noir fan since forever, and I’m not crazy about Hollywood’s latest trend to remake all of the best films. The remakes usually suck pond water and tarnishing the legacy of the original release.
That said, I’ve always had a soft spot for Marlowe. This film works on all levels. James Garner was made for this role, likewise Carroll O’Connor.
Bruce Lee was also excellent; a real pleasure to watch. Too bad he made his film exit so soon ;)
Thank you RL, for keeping this copy available for old and new fans alike. Here’s to hoping for an upgraded copy, someday.
2 Sensational Bruce Lee action sequences as the character Winslow Wong … thanks soon much for this !
