This is ranked at 362 of my top 400 “notable” movies, and in my top 10 of the worst movies to watch with a date, with Eraserhead and Psycho being at the top of that list.
Michael Jackson sings the song “Ben” for the closing scene, which makes this movie even that much weirder.

That song was popular, and I remember hearing it on the radio. I thought it was a gay love song, but it was about Willard’s love for a rat named Ben. Ha!
