Fantastic movie – but the only time I’ve seen it was on TV in the 70s. Based on the novel by one of the grand masters of SF – Isaac Asimov – and featuring an appearance by James “beam me up Scotty” Doohan just before the original Star Trek series.

    • Duke Marlborough says:

Asimov did not write the original story, but the subsequent novelization. He has described how he tried to explain some of the conundrums of the physics and chemistry involved, when he had to write the novel.
This is a must-see classic, good for kids, too!
All that and Raquel, the love of my life!

I tried very hard to find this movie and its available at last!!! Very Thank you

  3. temnix says:

This is obviously a landmark movie, but the list of stars needs to include more people. I don’t believe Donald Pleasence is not a star here.

    Thank you very much.
