I saw the second part on a TV station in germany in the 90s. I was thinking why it is the second part. Years later I found the DVD in a shop and bought it. Now I understand the second part I watched on TV many years ago.
btw: The german name of the film is: “Der Typ mit dem irren Blick”.
This movie never got much love from the critics and gets passed by when writers look back on ’80s teen movies. but it has genuine laughs and captures the feel of being a teen in the ’80s. It might be politically incorrect and immature, but so were we in 1982. Also: Back in ’82 I could throw a pigskin a quarter mile.
The 80s classics in this weeks update are much appreciated.
