    Thanks for posting this film, as it’s one of the harder to find Marins films to find online. That said, when it aired on IFC in the late 00s, the ending to the last segment was very different. Instead of the bad guys getting away with everything, the film ended with an outside shot of the house with the bad guys suddenly being destroyed by fire from above, ala Sodom and Gomorrah as far as the bad guys being killed by God above for their various blasphemies and atrocities. Is this some sort of directors cut as far as the IFC print being based on a version that had to have a tacted on “happy ending” with the bad guys being punished that got released when the film first came out?

    Yay, glad to see this posted! I downloaded from another source and the audio was seriously out of synchronization. It gave me a headache trying to fix it so I gave up. Thanks for including commentary.
