Thanks so much for the commentary. This is a crazy Russell flick starring his own daughter. It was based on a play and there is lots of 4th wall breaking and a blood cameo by a well known pornstar. I am surprised they didn’t put the unrated in HD, but glad RL provided it anyway.

Theresa Russell is great and funny in this film. You would have to ask Ken Russell what affinity he had for stories starring prostitutes, since he also shot “Crimes of passion” with an equally terrific Kathleen Turner. Another Mizoguchi ?
