Would love to see the full bonus content and HD upgrade of William Friedkin’s Jade from 1995. There is also the uncut VHS version, which Vinegar Syndrome might have upgraded, too.

  2. satan2k says:

Some of my favorite dialogue quotes of all time:
“The guy’s unbelievable, man. Say all you want about Michael Jordan, he’s a great fuckin’ ball player. But Quentin Dailey’s got a gun like a howitzer, man.”

Credit Card Counterfeiter : Why are you chasing me?
    (William Peterson): Why you running?
Credit Card Counterfeiter : ‘Cause you’re chasing me, man!

Plus bit parts by John Turturro and Robert Downey Sr.

This is what you rented from the video store when nothing else was available. Good flick. Thanks, RL!

    YES!

  5. Netdog says:

Good film.Cool over the top performance by a young William Defoe. Lots of action with a car chase scene that will blow you away. Kind of a sleeper. Great example of 1980,s Action Flicks.

  6. Tom says:

    Woah.
Memories; this is the first movie my family rented on VHS

  7. riceburner says:

Super cool 80’s flick that “Wang Chung” did the soundtrack for !!! ….so go ahead and watch Willem Dafoe print his own money !

  8. Aerial Bender says:

An 80’s gem hiding in plain sight. It didn’t do well on initial release but, like Friedkin’s ‘Sorcerer’ and ‘Cruising’, it’s finally being appreciated. A seminal crime thriller where it’s hard to tell the good guys from the bad. The ending is still pretty shocking and a young Willem Dafoe as an unpredictable psychopath is quite memorable. Like the Friedkin films mentioned earlier, this has a great soundtrack and I think I like the outrageous car chase as much or even more than the one in ‘The French Connection’. Rarelust rules the internet cinema wastelands!

  9. Phaota says:

Commentary is with director William Friedkin.
