It was for a long time hard to find a good resolution, uncut copy of this film. I hope this Blu-Ray will fix that. Certainly better than the lesser copy I had before.
(Did not know about the Tezfiles / Yandex connection. I had always thought they were under same ownership as Keep2Share, since there are so many apparent similarities between the two filehosts.)
….having said that one should watch In the Company of Actors/2007, the 75mins Australian documentary showing the stage rehearsals of Hedda Gabbler, played by Cate Blanchett. Thanks again RL.
Rod Steiger/Claire Bloom were married in real life, they made the film as an exercise for cheating divorce! You can tell Bloom (9th pic above) is in a class of her own, stage actress as Hedda Gabler, then of course Steiger next to Marlon Brando On the Waterfront. The Oscars are now coming, it doesn’t compare.
Rod Steiger scoring with a young hitch-hiker? Sounds amazing. Don’t know how he’s gonna keep that a secret.
Anne Bloom later played Parker Lewis’ mom in Parker Lewis Can’t Lose (1990). By the way, Tezfiles doesn’t let me download anything using VPN. I managed to start downloading the film via VPN (pretending to be in Russia) and using Microsoft Edge on Windows 7. Don’t forget Tezfiles is run by Yandex, a Russian company.
This was Claire bloom, but they look similar. Sorry for the misinformation.
