Hudson Leick here is at her most unbearably beautiful. I like her even more in “University Hospital,” a short daytime series, on ABC, I believe, where she plays a student nurse. As for this film, there is one frightening scene where, in fact, her character dies at the hands of the villain of Brion James (who is somehow missing from both the screenshots and the credits) before being resurrected, or imitated, as the chatbot of the eponymous supercar. Back then people did imagine virtual intelligences as something with a consciousness, though, only not biological, so here we are talking about an actual resurrection. What a pity real life is a one-way trip for everyone, even Hudson.
