Together, they set out for America to find the last living direct descendant of the great Count. Meanwhile, said descendant, unaware of his true heritage, goes on vacation with his family and their dogs, not knowing they are in great danger. Fortunately, a vampire hunter is also on the case and is tracking down the servant and his dog, as well as the descendant, in order to destroy the former and protect the latter.

No, no, we don’t impale dogs, what plays in the media is something like Vampire Hookers, available here: https://rarelust.com/vampire-hookers-1978/
The half-vampire servant is played by Reggie Nalder, a very strange-looking actor who also played Barlow in the original Salem’s Lot miniseries!
Thank you RL this sounds like a shlocktastic cheese fest of a film. Not seen it before other comments have me intrigued so look forward to seeing it.
This is such a fun dose of schlocky 70s B-movie cinema. Saw this as the 2nd movie on a double feature with SLITHIS with my little brother in 1978, when he was 8 and I was 16.
Saw this a couple of years ago, it was a total blast. The main character is named Michael Dracula, an all-time great movie name, and nearly the whole thing takes place on a caravan trip with Michael and his family. It’s really worth seeing.
Thanks for uploading my request so quickly. Much appreciated:)
