Considering that this is one of the few Italian language movies that was shot with live sound, and that the Italian audio IS included here, it’s a tragedy that there exists no English subtitles.. And the fact that it’s a Mafia film set in Sicily and these people would not be speaking English… makes it more frustrating.. Still watchable with the silly English dub, but so much is lost..
Another towering achievement from the great Pasquale Squitieri as well as another iconic role for Guilianno Gemma. This is quite a find!
Many thanks for this. I always liked Gemma in his westerns, but he blossomed into a fine dramatic actor in the Seventies.
