Sweet, delicate, yet strong Charlotte Gainsbourg in an uneasy teen-exploitation role after the well-done L’effrontée in 1985 and before La petite voleuse in 1988. At least it’s Serge Gainsbourg who adds the uneasy, even sleazy factor, no wonder after his open flirtation with incestuous provocations (The music video for Lemon Incest he wrote and directed for his 12 year old daughter?!). Charlotte is acting better than her father by far and helps to bring out this touching drama to the viewer. A recommended watch, but damn, why are so many classics not available in english anymore….
this is ok but not very explicit like other classic movies of incest, there is no explicit sex scenes of father and daughter in here so better find other movies if you are into explicit sex scenes, this is a waste of time
Sleazebag Serge Gainsbourg himself loved to play and provoke with the rumour of an incestuous relationship with his under-age daughter. But: This film is not about incest, this is a fckin melodrama about a girl and her suicidal father.
