Good movie, yet I wouldn’t call it a “comedy”. I wouldn’t even call it a romantic comedy, but it has some of that.
It’s basically a date flick, which I imagine even gay couples should enjoy.
Personally, I thought this movie was rather boring.
Yet 1979 was a great year for movies, with Alien, Apocalypse Now, The Jerk, Being There, The China Syndrome, Stalker, Life of Brian, Manhattan, Mad Max, Vengeance is Mine, The Marriage of Maria Braun, All That Jazz, Hardcore, And Justice for All, Escape from Alcatraz, The Wanderers, Quadrophenia, Dirty Ho, The Magnificent Butcher, Time After Time, and Phantasm.
Just discovered recently in Theater (I live in France).
Beautiful movie with graceful moments.
Thank U so much!
I saw this at the movies when it first came out – and it was the year I left High School, so I was going through what these guys were, in that year! I’ve never had a movie relate to my own life so much. So this is very special to me.
Thanks for uploading this beautiful little movie!!
Commentary is with actor Dennis Christopher, and film historian’s Nick Redman and Julie Kirgo.
Yaaaa! I forgot this one existed – just in time for Saturday night movie night:) Thank you!
