This movie is one of the really hidden gems in the Italian giallo cannon. This one is very much similar to say, Umberto Lenzi’s Paranoia. If you see this film without reading the horrendously written synopsis and descriptions available online (which spoils the killer), you will enjoy a very good sexy giallo a’la 60’s with a flawless cast. Avoid reading plot description, since several sources contain spoilers.
I got used to the german dub very quickly, and it also contains some swedish dialogue.
A very smart and quite bleak movie on a lesser budget. A sexy giallo of the 60’s if there ever was one,.despite rarely ever mentioned in books and essays on the genre. Qualifies with both the sexy intrigue bit, as well as murder where the killer is identified in the end – and its motive.
Would love to see this movie released in high definition some day.
