Samson may be the most righteous gogo bar owner ever, an dhe swings a big club as we;ll. Of most import is that wWill SMith is much older than I figured him to be. In what muat havw been an early role for him, here he plays a white gangster, Mr. Nappa to you. Certainly a far cry from the character he played on the fresh prince of Bel Aire. They guy’s got range, I’ll give him that.
Another keeper in thye canon of Blaxploitation films. The rub here is that Will, who resides in Italy of course hires an african american from thwe US to come to Italy and make a hit. This is also a poingient sendup of the old addage all Italian men are cosa nostra hitmen, and it does a good job of getting this message across.
